Apple : iPad II

Apple’s new iPad, which will be lighter and thinner than the first version, has now gone into production, according to sources “familiar with the matter” quoted in the Wall Street Journal.

The Journal also said that the new Apple iPad will have a camera on the front “for features like video-conferencing”, more memory and a more powerful graphics processor.

The new iPad is expected to be released around Easter this year – a year after the first version was launched – but no launch date has been confirmed. Apple typically updates its products on annual cycles.

The Wall Street Journal, which has a history of being well informed where Apple’s products are concerned, said the screen resolution of the device will be similar to the current model.

Apple sold 14.8 million iPads in 2010, creating a new market sector that its competitors have been scrambling to enter.

OKI-NI Presents ‘RESONANCE’ By GUIDO : FREE DOWNLOAD

“It’s no surprise really that Guido stand apart from his better-known dubstep label -mates Joker and Gemmy. Real name Guy Middleton, Guido is a trained jazz and classical pianist who cites the soundtracks of epic fantasy computer games like Final Fantasy as one of his main influences.

Guido made this mix for us in the midst of autumn – looking out his window and soaking in the atmosphere – and it’s this ambient vibe that permeates this mix, which is built around the ‘genius progression’ of Franck Roger’s track ‘Solo Man’ and one of Guido’s favourite peices of music, ‘From Gagarin’s Point Of View’ by Max.Bab.

If you thought easy-listening and dubstep were mutually exclusive then RESONANCE proves otherwise”

OHWOW and Supreme : Dill With F**k This Life

The two iconic brands united to produce a printed collaboration between skateboarding veteran Jason Dill and artist Weirdo Dave,  titled DILL WITH FUCK THIS LIFE. This latest image compilation delivers the same raw content, unapologetic attitude, and irreverent take on the humor of everyday headlines; DW/FTL maintains the classic Weirdo Dave aesthetic, accented with Dill’s twisted, but complimentary, contributions. A scrapbook, of sorts, DW/FTL reveals a grittily tinted world and the oddities of life seen from the duo’s distinct perspective.
